James M. Milliron
Miami Life & National Brokerage Atlantic Co-Founder, President and Board Member.
James "Jimmy" Milliron is Co-Founder & President of Miami Life, a leading independent advisory firm specializing in Wealth Enhancement, Estate Planning & Asset Protection for U.S. and international clientele. Mr. Milliron is an insurance veteran specializing in multi-channel distribution via independent & institutional channels, family offices, and law & accounting firms focusing on intelligent insurance strategies to help uncover, understand, and engage with affluent clients.
Previously, Mr. Milliron served as Executive Vice President & Board Member of NexTier Bank's Insurance Division for fifteen years. He was responsible for developing, maintaining, and managing the Employee Benefits & Private Client division and advising high net worth individuals on life insurance-based wealth planning solutions. Mr. Milliron was instrumental in building NexTier's fully collateralized premium finance lending program to a $400MM+ portfolio.
He earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in History, German & International Studies from Virginia Military Institute and currently holds Series 22 and Series 63 securities registrations in addition to Life, Health, Property & Casualty, and Annuities Insurance Licenses.
Chris Burch CLU, FLMI, HIAA, ACS
SVP, Underwriting and Case Management
Chris Burch heads up our Underwriting and Case Management division. Chris brings more than 30 plus years of life insurance experience to our operation. She utilizes her extensive underwriting knowledge to deliver proven results. Chris's expertise includes Reinsurance Staging, underwriting negotiations, Foreign National risk assessment, High Net Worth underwriting, and evaluation of complex medical history. With increasingly tricky insurance cases coupled with a constantly changing underwriting landscape, Chris' industry knowledge is critical in ensuring that the client gets the best underwriting outcome possible.
Chris also works closely with our Advanced Planning and Premium Finance teams in building a case that meets client objectives. Chris has put a New Business Process in place, ensuring efficient, timely, and effective processing of our life insurance business. She also works closely with her Case Manager to provide a positive Customer Service experience exists for all. Before joining National Brokerage Atlantic, Chris worked at the carrier level for 21 years holding various underwriting and leadership positions. She joined the BGA space in 2012 and has quickly gained respect as a valued underwriter in this industry.
Chris also has a passion for education and holds the following insurance industry designations: Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), Fellow Life Management Institute (FLMI), Health Insurance Associate of America (HIAA), and Associate, Customer Service (ACS).
SVP, Premium Finance & Capital Structuring
Allison is the V.P. of Miami Life's Premium Finance Business and overall Advanced Life Insurance Sales that includes working with our Advisors and their Ultra High Net Worth clients on Estate, Business Planning, and Retirement needs. This expertise also includes working with our International and Global Wealthy Citizen clients and finding Insurance Solutions to meet their needs. With a vast knowledge of the Premium Finance market, Allison also manages Miami Life's Capital Access platform to build relationships and establish Loan Programs specifically and exclusively for Miami Life.
In her 20 years of experience in the Insurance Industry, Allison previously worked with renowned firms such as NPF Insurance Services, Leading Brokerage General Agencies and Producer Groups, Wells Fargo Advisors, and multiple other Financial Institutions, and has consulted with the top Life insurance Firms in the industry. During this time, Allison's focus knows has always be dedicated to Advanced Life Insurance Solutions for High Net Worth Clients and a specialty in Premium Financing.
Allison earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management from Texas A&M University and held a Life, Health, Property & Casualty Insurance License and Long Term Care certifications.
SVP, Premium Finance & Advanced Sales
Clarence is the Sr. Vice President of Global Sales with Miami Life, bringing more than 26 years of experience in the Life Insurance industry. He has worked with several leading financial services firms and other sales organizations, holding various leadership roles in sales and management.
Clarence has specialized in Advanced Markets and Premium Finance sales for the past ten years and utilizes his broad product knowledge and planning experience to help clients achieve their financial goals and objectives.
He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Economics from Florida A&M University and completed the Certified Financial Planner designation program at Florida State University. He holds licenses for Life, Health, LTC, and Variable products and is Securities Licensed for 6 and 63 designations.
Shaun is Managing Director of Private Client at Miami Life. Shaun brings more than a decade of experience in the wealth management industry, working as an advisor for some of the top wealth management firms in the country, including Morgan Stanley and Merrill Lynch. Having managed a proprietary investment model and implementing planning strategies to achieve client objectives, Shaun’s expertise includes investment management, asset allocation, and risk management strategies. In a world of shortening market cycles, low interest rates, and an ever-changing political environment Shaun’s guidance provides direction to clients in navigating their financial complexity.
Prior to becoming a wealth advisor, Shaun was managing member of a consulting firm focused on raising debt and equity for the acquisition and development of real estate. Shaun worked with hedge funds, private equity, private capital, as well as insurance companies to fund his client’s capital needs. Among Shaun’s clientele were local and national real estate developers, a foreign oil company, and alumni of The National Football League.
Shaun earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication Studies from the University of Iowa. He holds a Series 7 and 66 in addition to Life and Health Insurance licenses and Long Term Care certification.
Cary Fry MBA, CLU, CHFC, CMFC
SVP, Business Development
Cary has been in the insurance industry for more than 25 years, including career agency and independent distribution channels. He began his career as a financial advisor with Prudential Financial and, after qualifying for MDRT in his first-year full year in the business, moved into sales leadership. Since then, he has been in numerous regional and executive leadership roles with various organizations, including New England Financial, Allstate Financial, Securian, Guardian Life Insurance, and Lion Street.
Cary has unique expertise in growing revenue with advisors through practice management and expansion of their markets, and leading sales over national and regional geographies. He has vast experience, including working with elite producers and their high-net-worth clients and business owners to implement sophisticated accumulation, wealth preservation, and succession strategies.
Cary obtained his MBA from Colorado Christian University and has obtained industry designations of Certified Life Underwriter, Chartered Financial Consultant, and Chartered Mutual Fund Counselor. He has completed 7 FINRA registrations and state life, health, and property/casualty license.
Jacqueline Steinberg AALU
VP, Advanced Case Design
Jacqueline has fifteen years of experience in the Life Insurance Industry. She has extensive knowledge and expertise in advanced planning concepts, foreign nationals, life insurance products, and many years designing premium finance cases. In her current role as V.P. of Advanced Case Design, she uses her expertise in development and design to turn around competitive solutions to producers in the premium finance and foreign nationals' market.
Jacqueline plays a vital role in the management of premium finance loans for new and refinances cases. She has worked previously on the Advanced Marketing teams at both Highland Capital Brokerage and National Financial Partners. Before joining Miami Life Insurance Services, she served as the Distribution Manager for LifeTrends, a company that provides competitive product intelligence for various insurance companies and distribution partners.
Jackie holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from St. Edward’s University. In 2016, she earned her AALU designation.
Senior Market Intelligence Analyst
John brings a wealth of knowledge about advanced planning concepts, financing strategies, and concepts along with specialized conceptual knowledge of premium financing to his role as Premium Finance Specialist for Miami Life Insurance Services. Before joining the company, he was the lead Premium Finance Specialist and Advanced Case Designer for National Brokerage Atlantic. John has over two decades of management, sales, research, and advanced marketing experience.
He holds multiple degrees in Film Directing and Film Scoring from UCLA and is a seasoned musician, author, and professional historian for Pittsburgh.
Mark Martin CFP®

Mark Martin began his career in insurance in 1989 as an agent with The Metropolitan Life Insurance Company. After obtaining his CFP® Certification, Mark became an Independent Financial Advisor specializing in Life, Estate, and Retirement Planning. Mark joined National Brokerage Atlantic in June of 2009 as a Fixed Life and Annuity Specialist. He draws on his years of experience to assist Advisors in helping them design Life, Disability, and Long-Term Care solutions for their clientele.
He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Finance from California University of Pennsylvania and currently holds a Series 7, Series 6, Series 63, Life, Health, Property and Casualty Insurance licenses, and Certified Financial Planning, Professional.
Mirasol Garcia began her career in the life insurance industry in 2012. She worked as an Underwriting Case Manager at a Wealth Management Firm in Austin, Tx, for five years. She continued her path as an Underwriting Case Manager. Simultaneously she worked as an Executive Assistant for a Principal from 2017 to 2020.
Mirasol joined National Brokerage Atlantic in March 2021 and is committed to providing her passion for managing cases and connecting with Advisors to secure New Business for you and your clients
Business Development & Operations
Stephany brings ten years of global health management and operations expertise. She has worked with numerous domestic and international health management organizations such as Bupa Latin America, Cigna, and Vanbreda International. Her strengths are quality control of medical claims, policy underwriting and standard of procedures, corporate learning and development; training, testing, and implementation.
In her role as Head of Business Development at Miami Life Insurance Services, she will be accessing Miami’s international market and identifying growth opportunities.
Stephany is bilingual in English and Spanish and attended Florida International University.
VP, Compensation & Contracting
Kirk Collins has over 18 years of accounting and compensation experience. Before joining National Brokerage Atlantic, Kirk spent 14 years with Highland Capital Brokerage in various contracting and compensation-related roles, including Commission Accountant, Manager of Commissions, Manager of Carrier Compensation, and AVP of Compensation and Contracting. During his time at Highland, Kirk learned a great deal about the brokerage side of the life insurance industry. Kirk has a vast knowledge of our agency management system, iPipeline’s Agency Integrator.
Dalton is the operational specialist for National Brokerage Atlantic and Miami Life. He graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a B.S. in Biochemistry. In his six years of experience working as a professional scientist and manufacturing supervisor, he has gained strong critical thinking, technical writing, and organizational skills. He leverages these skills while working alongside outside vendors to create processes, integrate systems, and implement business-wide changes in a thoughtful, controlled manner.
